“If I Was A Pizza…”

Well, the title says it all doesn’t it? When asked by Just Another Agency to put in a work for the Works On Paper show I hesitated. Being shoulder to shoulder with some of Australia’s finest artists/illustrators I had no idea how I was going to match their level of skill. I decided, there’s no point doing something that wasn’t me so, of course, I said to myself one day,
“What If I was a pizza?”
It wasn’t long before my mind began to wander off into strange cheese covered worlds where people were glazed in salami and mushrooms. I referred the idea to my trusty sidekick, miss Ggibbings.
“Okay, I’m a pizza, right? And i’m so steezy, you know like ‘cheesy’ that everyone wants to bite me. I’m so steezy I want to bite MYSELF!”
She laughed and that sealed the deal. The work is still on display at Signed & Numbered until the end of the month! So head down there while you still can and check out the space, say hello to the cute puppy, see awesome artworks and maybe even have a tea party.
